Money isn’t just the cash you hold in your hands. Real money is about value. It’s the worth you bring to the world, not just the paper notes or coins you exchange.

Being poor is not simply having no money—it’s about lacking value. In the past, people didn’t always use money to trade. They practiced bartering, where each person exchanged something valuable, like food, tools, or services, for something else they needed. Physical money was later introduced to make trading easier. So, if you focus only on having money, you might not get very far. Instead, focus on becoming someone valuable, and money will naturally follow.

If you give a person millions of Naira (or any other currency) but they have no skills or value to offer, they will eventually lose all that money. On the other hand, if you take away all the money from someone who has value—someone with skills, knowledge, and purpose—they will find a way to make it back. In fact, it’s possible to be wealthy and still not carry true value.

Each one of us has something special inside, a talent or gift that our generation needs. That’s why you are alive today. Nothing comes for free; to gain something, you must give something in return. God has placed unique gifts and talents inside of you, and it’s your job to discover, develop, and invest in them.

You are a solution to the problems in your generation. Think about it: what do you love to do? What comes easily to you that others might struggle with? It’s something that makes you happy, even if you’re not being paid for it. You enjoy learning more about it and improving yourself in that area. This is your gift, and the Holy Spirit can help guide you to fully discover and use it.

You have to start somewhere. The amount of money you earn is often tied to the amount of value you give. That’s why there’s a saying: “To earn more, you must learn more.” You might need to make sacrifices to grow and use your gifts, but the reward is greater in the end.

The Bible says the world is waiting for the sons of God to reveal themselves. That includes you! Your generation is waiting for the solution that only you can bring. Will you accept this challenge?
